Scope of task force[edit]

  • Items covered
    • Timelines for current year
    • Country articles for history up to present day
    • Articles on conflicts, issues, debates, activism, etc, occuring in the present day
    • Any historical articles needing updates due to events in the current time period
    • Any other articles requiring current data, updates, etc.
    • anything else suggested by members of this Task Force.

Topics and articles[edit]

The Contemporary History task force writes, updates, and maintains articles pertaining to contemporary history. This includes timelines for the current year; articles covering historical periods that include the present day; regular articles covering historical events, conflicts, or issues which are currently transpiring; and also, any regular topics or areas which have had recent developments, and which need to be updated on that basis.
