Task forces are where the major work of the WikiProject gets done.

Active editors can feel free to join or to set up Task Forces for any historical periods, geographical regions, or topical areas that are relevant to WikiProject History. Please feel free to join any Task Forces that match your interests. If you don't see an area listed that you want to work on, then feel free to simply add it. thanks!!!!

    • Writes, updates, and maintains articles on contemporary history.
    • Relevant articles include timelines for the current year; articles covering historical periods that include the present day; regular articles covering historical events, conflicts, or issues which are currently transpiring; and also,
    • any regular topics or areas which have had recent developments, and which need to be updated on that basis.
