Interest[edit]
The workshop should bring three groups into contact with each other
- Experts/ researchers/ users interested in such a data base,
- those who could do the programming,
- Wikimedia-/Wikipedia-experts with experience in joint ventures with public institutions.
- Questions
- What should the data base be able to offer?
- What would the user interface look like?
- What are the technical problems to be considered?
- What organisational problems will we face?
- Who would be partners (think of Google Books or the Bodleian Library’s and University of Oxford’s “Cultures of Knowledge]” project).
