Hi, how does this system actually work? Once the ballot has been inserted to ensure that the votes are registered in the machine, does it automatically succeed like when you stamp a card? What do you mean? I assume you mean the reference section, but what do want to do? Split it into columns? Have a bibliography section pointing to a reference section? My first attempt did not work, but this does: separate them by     {{thinsp}}, as in

<ref>Adam & Eve (4004 BC).    {{thinsp}}For a contrary view, see Dawkins R. (2002).</ref>

The output will look more or less like:

1. ^ Adam & Eve (4004 BC).
For a contrary view, see Dawkins R. (2002).
