Legal opioids[edit]

Is there a single jurisdiction in the world where there are legally available opioids suitable for recreational use? By "legally available", I do mean off-prescription. By "suitable for recreational use", I mean excluding e.g. loperamide, and further able to induce at least mild euphoria.--Leon (talk) 18:37, 16 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

See Drug_liberalization#Around_the_world. Of note it says "In August 2009, the Argentine supreme court declared in a landmark ruling that it was unconstitutional to prosecute citizens for having drugs for their personal use - "adults should be free to make lifestyle decisions without the intervention of the state""

Codeine is legal over the counter in many countries and has a history of recreational use. See [1] 208.90.213.186 (talk) 20:19, 16 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
