Iron Basket at Mobile AL Museum Display[edit]

Looking for help identifying an iron basket with swivels on a long handle which was hanging at a display in-between an exhibit of slave markets and loading cotton bales onto paddlewheel steamboats in the museum in the old Mobile AL City Hall and Market. Couldn't find a tag or reference in the surrounding exhibits and forgot to ask before leaving. Thanks for help figuring out what it is. Sorry, not figuring out how to add a pic.
