Listing for Brandon L Wilson and his four books has disappeared[edit]

The listing for Brandon L Wilson, Author/Explorer (born 1953) has appeared on Wikipedia since at least 2010. We checked it today to update the listing and see it has disappeared along all four published book titles, although interestingly photos still appear as available in WikiMedia/Commons. The listing went through a few minor edits over the years, but no major changes. Where did it suddenly go after 12 years and why? How can we get it added back? The page was deleted on 30 October 2021; see Brandon Wilson (writer). A copy was archived by the Wayback Machine on September 4, 2021: [1]. There is a process for undoing deletions; see Wikipedia:Requests for undeletion. I suggest that you prepare for the possibility that the article will be nominated for deletion for its subject not meeting Wikipedia's notability requirements for authors. @Alpiner123 To add to that, here's the quoted reason it was deleted, if you missed it: "This article along with articles written about the books appear to have been primarily written by the same IP; lots of biographical detail with very little reliable sourcing. No third party references to establish notability; no evidence of winning notable awards (e.g., ForeWord "Book of the Year" does not appear to be a notable award." "Reliable sourcing" means sources that follow WP:RS. Blogs, podcasts, and self-published works are highly unlikely to count as reliable. -- asilvering (talk) 02:42, 4 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
