"Wheels at an angle" parking ticket in New York, New York[edit]

In an episode of Law & Order: Criminal Intent the detectives are investigating a murder. On the victim's car the detectives found a ticket for "wheels at an angle". Is this something that can actually get you a ticket in New York? Thanks, DuncanHill (talk) 23:11, 7 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Probably. In many places, you are required to curb your wheels so that the car can't roll if it slips out of gear, and you can get a ticket for parking and not doing that. Probably. In San Francisco it's essential to curb your wheels [1], they even provide a GIS reference of streets with a 3% grade or more for reference [2] Acroterion (talk) 01:58, 8 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
