January 29[edit]

Name of movie[edit]

Idr much about it but the hero worked with or at a high tech crime lab. The villain committed the seemingly perfect crime: entered victim's bedroom to do the murder or jewel theft or whatever it was. Only snag was that he dropped his eyeglasses on the floor and didn't notice that a tiny chip broke out of the corner of one of the lenses. The investigator found the tiny shard of glass, and by examining it with a microscope and I think lasers and ray tracing software, was able to figure out the eyeglass prescription and then maybe track down the villain. Then I think they got a search warrant, got hold of his glasses, and found that the shard they found fit perfectly into the dent in the lens where the shard had broken out of. Dum-da-DUM-dum, that wraps up the case. Thanks. 2601:648:8202:350:0:0:0:C115 (talk) 09:19, 29 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
