Question for an Airbus A380 in Indian film[edit]

The screen play of Top Gun: Maverick[edit]
The screenplay of Top Gun: Maverick qualifies as an original screenplay, notwithstanding it being based on characters of previously established material (namely Top Gun) - right? --KnightMove (talk) 18:36, 28 August 2022 (UTC)
- I believe so. For the purposes of the Oscars two screenwriting awards, an original screenplay is one that is not taken from a pre-existing narrative work, like a novel or a play or a comic book or something like that, while an adapted screenplay is one where the basic story existed previously in some other form of media. Sequels may be either, depending on whether the story in the sequel also previously existed in other media. --Jayron32 12:19, 29 August 2022 (UTC)
