Can anyone identify these films?[edit]

Hi, I'm trying to identify a couple of horror films from the late 1970s/early 1980s, and hoped someone here could help.

The first was about a group of friends who take a holiday at a remote cottage, and are gradually killed off by some kind of demon that used a garden fork or rake to despatch its victims. The film's ending shows the whole thing to have been a nightmare a girl was having before Christmas. She wakes to find her parents have surprised her with a new kitten. The kitten may have featured in the dream somewhere, I'm not sure now.

The second was about a guy who experienced false death syndrome. He would be found apparently dead and taken to the mortuary only to revive again. He had been in prison, and every time he had one of these experiences he would have a vivid nightmare about something that had happened to him while he was in jail, while eerie heartbeat music played over the scenes. I can't remember how the film ended, but have a feeling it wasn't good for the guy.

I remember seeing them some years ago and am just curious to find out their titles. I guess there could be an article in it if they were commercially successful. Can anyone help? Thanks, This is Paul (talk) 18:06, 9 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
