Did the Iran–Iraq War ever take place in the Tom Clancy universe?[edit]
In the Tom Clancy novel Executive Orders, taking place in 1995, Iran invades and occupies Iraq in a semi-Anschluss fashion. Did the Iran–Iraq War ever take place in the Tom Clancy universe? If it didn't then that would the premise of a Iran-Iraq union more plausible. WinterWall (talk) 12:28, 5 December 2014 (UTC)
- There seem to be references to the Iran–Iraq war in Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell, which Clancy himself did not write (Raymond Benson did) so it is questionable whether it takes place in Clancy's "universe". --Canley (talk) 23:19, 5 December 2014 (UTC)
