70’s robot‒space film[edit]

My dad told me about this film that he watched long ago that had a man in space, whose only company was robots. Does anybody know what it’s called? --66.190.69.246 (talk) 09:30, 11 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Probably Silent Running (1972). Clarityfiend (talk) 09:45, 11 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. --66.190.69.246 (talk) 13:06, 11 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, a great work of art, well worth watching repeatedly. μηδείς (talk) 19:21, 12 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Looking for a movie - serial killer genre[edit]

Trying to find a "serial killer" movie from several years ago. It was very much like Henry,a serial killer but even darker. It had two men who travelled about, well, killing. There was an especially mean scene in which they raped a woman in the most graphically vicious way. I think it was made in black and white. Sorry I can't remember more but it(the movie) left a nasty impression. Thank you! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.39.129.74 (talk) 14:11, 11 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Name that tune Boards of Canada[edit]

Normally this would be easy: Google a few words in the lyrics and I'd get it. The problem is, the music is instrumental. As the band's been around for over 15 years (thus lots of music), random checks on Youtube wasn't much help either. I know it's from BoC, but what album and song or songs? The music was broadcasted on CBC radio: here's the podcast Mur-Écran, The Windscreen. One can hear it throughout the podcast but one could particularly check it out 52 min:42-44 sec into the 53 min:59 sec podcast. Any help would be appreciated.174.137.237.65 (talk) 19:12, 11 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

It is the opening song of their masterpiece album Music Has the Right to Children. It is called "Wildlife Analysis". A personal favorite of mine. Hia10 (talk) 00:41, 12 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
"Wildlife Analysis" appears towards the beginning of the podcast. "Open the Light" from the same album is also featured in the last minute of the podcast. Hia10 (talk) 00:46, 12 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
