June 11[edit]

Identify a few people[edit]

This photo [1] was taken at the PEN Song Lyrics of Literary Excellence award ceremony in Boston in February this year. From left to right: ?, Salman Rushdie, Elvis Costello, ?, ?, Paul Simon, Leonard Cohen, Chuck Berry, Keith Richards, ?. Please name the missing people. --Viennese Waltz 08:48, 11 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I think the woman next to Simon is Shawn Colvin, who this mentions was there. The person on our right (their left) might be organiser Bill Flanagan but I'm not sure (there's a photo that I think is the same Flanagan here if you scroll down). --Colapeninsula (talk) 09:41, 11 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
The website itself has a caption for this picture (http://www.webheights.net/speakingcohen/penne.html, towards the bottom): Tom Perrotta, Salman Rushdie, Elvis Costello, Peter Wolf, Shawn Colvin, Paul Simon, Leonard Cohen, Chuck Berry, Keith Richards, Bill Flanagan. catchy song[edit]

I was shopping in my local drugstore. There was this catchy song playing over the loudspeaker. The chorus(es) sounded like "Cross My Broken Heart Boy" and/or "Cross My Broken Heart for You". What's the song's title and who sings it?24.90.195.33 (talk) 20:37, 11 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Are you sure it wasn't "Cross My Broken Heart" --Jayron32 20:45, 11 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, that's the one. Thank you.24.90.195.33 (talk) 21:59, 14 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
