August 21[edit]

old western musical[edit]

Looking for the name of a Western musical (about 50 years ago) that was surreal in that the ground was like bright yellow dust68.5.232.143 (talk) 16:40, 21 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Annie Get Your Gun and Oklahoma! could both be described as Western musicals (assuming you mean Western as in "19th century Western U.S.", and not Western as in "European and North American"). --Jayron32 19:55, 21 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Paint Your Wagon, perhaps? One of the plot points was gold dust falling. RudolfRed (talk) 19:58, 21 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Love is a Stranger[edit]

Second only to Katy Perry, Annie Lennox is the sexiest songstress (perhaps human) ever to live. In the Eurhythmics song, Love is a Stranger, does she sing "so I warned you" or, "So I want you" ...Love is an Obsession"? μηδείς (talk) 23:05, 21 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Just Google "Love is a stranger" lyrics. They seem to say it's "want". StuRat (talk) 23:18, 21 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Wrong song, I suppose, but... "And love is a stranger / Who'll beckon you on / Don't think of the danger / Or the stranger is gone / You only live twice..." ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 03:53, 23 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
"And I want you so, it's an obsession", I have always heard. And she's the sexiest bar none... Hassocks5489 (tickets please!) 23:05, 25 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
