The First Christmas: The Story of the First Christmas Snow article update[edit]

In the article referring to The First Christmas: The Story of the First Christmas Snow starring Angela Lansbury, it states that currently, there's no release of the film, when that is a false statement.

Studio: Warner Home Video VHS Release Date: December 21, 1993 Run Time: 22 minutes

I don't know how to a.)Correct this inaccuracy, & b.)Site it, as I did a "google" search, when trying to find it myself to own. I have been unable to find it on DVD or Blu Ray, but it was, in fact, released on VHS.

Please correct this error? Thanks!72.191.55.230 (talk) 03:44, 27 December 2010 (UTC)Amy C.[reply]

Done. I found evidence of a VHS version and updated the article accordingly. --Jayron32 03:48, 27 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Mamma Mia actor's name.[edit]

In the movie, Colin Firth meets a Greek man that we are led to believe Colin Firth's character Harry might have a gay relationship with. But his name doesn't seem to appear in the IMDB cast list or anywhere else I have looked. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks. 92.30.226.49 (talk) 15:36, 27 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It would help us search if you knew the Greek character's name. StuRat (talk) 18:40, 27 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry Stu., I don't. There is a face on the IMDB list of actors whose name is Petros in the film - but I can't be sure it's him. But thanks anyway. 92.30.226.49 (talk) 19:14, 27 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

“KI.KA und Wertlos”[edit]

What is “KI.KA und Wertlos”? A reference to the fact, that on analogue satellite, KI.KA shared a transponder with esoteric channels, which are considered worthless? --84.61.182.248 (talk) 19:47, 27 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

What is “Kikartelemedial”? --84.61.173.207 (talk) 10:54, 31 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

re voice effect on kim possible.[edit]

Can someone please tell me what they did to the voice of Carrie Kenny for the Bebes on Kim Possible? click here to hear it. The bebes are the androyds. Please describe the voice process done to Carrie Kenny's voice for these robots, thanks. N.I.M. (talk) 21:52, 27 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

As far as I can tell, nothing. Usually, they use a kind of reverb for the echoey robot voice, but not even that appears. Carrie Kenny is just speaking in a weird French-esque accent.--Editor510 drop us a line, mate 01:23, 28 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

There is the that sounds rather sweedish mixed with french accent, but something seems rather synthetic to her voice, is that reverb? listen carefully, it's easier to hear in the part of the episode when the music is quieter. If not, put your ear by the speaker when Bebe talks. I notice something, but what is it? N.I.M. (talk) 03:41, 28 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Last time you asked this I listened and didn't really hear anything special. Perhaps a little reverb. Mostly it just sounds like intentionally stilted voice-acting.
Traditionally, Band pass filters are used to make voices sound more mechanical, perhaps along with some clipping (audio).
(My favorite mechanical voice has got to be the GLaDOS voice in "Portal". For that they first recorded the voices with a low quality synthesizer. Then they had an actor imitate the incorrect inflection of the synthesizer. Then they processed the voice using pitch modulation to make it sound like a synthesizer again!)
