How much do actors/actresses make in a year?[edit]

My friend and I were talking about what we want to be and I replied "Actress". My friend says they don't make any money, but I wasn't sure. What are the most highly paid forms of acting (film, theatre,tv,etc..) and how much do they make? It really depends. Hollywood actresses make a huge amount of money, but there aren't many chances to get into that. Local theatre pays a lot less. Theatre generally pays pretty bad, depending on where you are in the world, how big the theatre market is, and how big the production is. A lot of actors do theatre not for the money but just to stay involved in the industry until a better paying role comes up. Some talent agents actually don't take a commission for finding actors theatre roles, and in my experience most of them in fact lower their commissions and fees for finding you theatre roles. The acting industry can be extremely tough to get into, and even if you do find some work it can be soul-destroying going for long periods of time without any more work. For this reason many people only dabble in acting because they can't afford to invest any more time in. In some cities you can take on waiting (waitering) as a flexible job to get you by and allows actors the flexibility to attend auditions at the drop of a hat. Others simply can't afford to not have a full-time higher paying job. For this reason you may have to consider taking on acting as a major hobby and hope that some day you'll have the extremely rare opportunity to do it full-ime. It's also worth adding that many actors also double as models, voice over artists, presenters and entertainers. Again, they don't make much because of the lack of work, but many people that wanted to be actors have found themselves with decent careers in these other 'side' fields. Anna: Well, they can be.
Bernie: I see friends from university — clever chaps — been in the business longer than you — they're scraping by on £7–8,000 a year. It's no life. What sort of acting do you do?
Anna: Films mainly.
Bernie: Oh splendid. Well done. How's the pay in movies? I mean, last film you did, what did you get paid?
Anna: $15,000,000.

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the median income in 2006 for actors was $11.61 per hour. In movies and TV, the lowest job in acting is as an extra (actor). These are people walking by in crowd scenes, etc. They don't have speaking roles and don't get credits listed at the end. According to our article, "...the basic rate for an 8-hour work day for a SAG extra ranges from US $126 to US $309". That may sound good, but bear in mind that they typically only work a few days at a time, making it difficult to make a living without a "day job". Next up would be bit players with minor roles, then come the main cast, and, at the top, the stars. The stars, of course, make the most. However, while stars in a successful TV series or movie blockbuster may make millions, there are stars of less successful TV series and B-movies who may not make much more than the extras. Unfortunately, there are far more extras than stars, and far more unemployed actors than extras, so it would be good to have a back-up plan in case acting doesn't pan out for you. Supernatural exorcism incantation[edit]

does anyone know or have an idea on what the demon exorcism spell that Sam usually mumbles? I know it's in some form of Latin, but if anyone has any idea what he's saying, or at least can point me to a site with information about it, it would be greatly appreciated! Music Video[edit]

I've been searching for weeks for a particular band and music video with no luck.

First-Pretty sure they're british Second-From the late 90's possible early '00 Third-They made all cartoon videos (I think - not sure)

The video I remeber was a little cartoon guy running around with this hulking blonde cartoon guy (he looked a bit like johnny Bravo) saving the day or something. Or possibly the big guy was there to help the little guy when he was in danger. Anyway very british sounding band. Sometimes the singer (guy singer) sounded like he was singing through a tin can. He used it for certain vocal affects. I think he used it for most of his songs. I can tell you it's NOT the Gorilla's.
