Sending SMS and Whatsapp messages[edit]

I often receive many SMs where the sender has no reply option.

The sender has no contact number, basically from known and unknown companies.

How are these type of SMS send where the received will not see my number?

I see sender as TT-VXT type names and not able to see their phone numbers.

Same thing happens in WhatsApp, where the company send messages, but their number is not visible.

The usual way to withhold the caller's number on a mobile is to dial #31# before the phone number. No doubt this varies a bit between countries and service providers. Shantavira|^{feed me} 11:49, 9 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
