Exporting emails located in Thunderbird to Outlook 2019[edit]

Hello! I need to get emails from an inbox in Thunderbird and get them viewable and accessible in Outlook 2019. The two clients are using different email addresses but I have both passwords. The version of Thunderbird being used is an older version but I was still able to get add-ons to work and I installed an export add-on. It can export them to .file extensions (Outlook can't see these to import) or .csv (spreadsheet). The latter butchers the emails up and Outlook can't recognise it. Any help would be greatly appreciated, please and thank you. --Abillionradios (talk) 05:56, 19 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Possibly too obvious, but can you just forward them? Martin of Sheffield (talk) 07:22, 19 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
IMAP supports multiple clients connecting to the same email box, at the same time. It also supports email folders. If the the old server is IMAP, you can log into it in Outlook, and copy the files to where you want. Likewise, if the new server is IMAP, then you can log into the new server in Thunderbird, and copy all the old emails to the new server. However, this does put them on the new server, which may take some time, and affect your quota. LongHairedFop (talk) 09:23, 19 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
