MacBook Air loses Internet Connection[edit]

My MacBook Air is connected to Wifi but suddenly lost Internet connection and I have to restart in order to regain it every time this happens. This starts happening many months ago and has been happening much more often in the past couple months, that is several times each week and the timing is random. Turning wifi on and off does not help. None of my other devices connected to the same wifi has this problem. StellarHalo (talk) 09:42, 13 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@StellarHalo: My first question would be, how old is your MacBook Air? It may just be due to age and it might simply mean your wi-fi chip is starting to go out (however the Wi-fi chip might not be the issue). ― Blaze The WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 14:30, 13 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
My MacBook Air is from 2015, so around 6 years old. StellarHalo (talk) 01:51, 14 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Hmm. Interesting, well I can't really help you much since I've never used an Apple device and therefore don't know how long they tend to last. ― Blaze The WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 14:33, 14 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Does this happen in any wi-fi network? Ruslik_Zero 20:45, 13 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Not sure since I have not been using my laptop with any other wifi network at all in the past few months. StellarHalo (talk) 01:51, 14 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
You should try. Ruslik_Zero 20:19, 14 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
