Adding my company page 'Jehlum'[edit]

HI,

When i try to search for 'Jehlum' it shows redirection to 'jHElum' and doesnt show red link on original text i.e. 'Jehlum'. is there any simple way to add my company page here? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Imzargar (talk • contribs) 13:55, 29 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Dell Insprion 15 5000[edit]

Does the Dell Backlit Keyboard use a special type of Ink? Or is it paint on plastic, because I am noticing that the "O" on the keyboard, the black part of the keycap (plastic) seems to be chipping off --Thegooduser Life Begins With a Smile :) 🍁 15:18, 29 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Most Dell backlit keyboards use an epoxy-based ink/paint.

I suggest investing is a Ducky keyboard. You will never go back to that cheap Dell.

To be fair, some of Dell's older business desktop and server hardware is of good quality and worth buying used. Monitors? not so much. Keyboards and Mice? Craptacular. --Guy Macon (talk) 21:33, 30 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Does if have a ~~CD or~~ DVD drive? If so, boot the Tails (operating system) ( https://tails.boum.org/ ) and run it for a while. If the monitor flashes even once, you know that it can't be software and that you have a hardware problem -- either in the monitor, the PC, or the cable. Can you borrow a monitor from someone? @Thegooduser and Guy Macon: Tails requires a DVD – it’s too big for a CD. But Tails is based on Debian (Official Debian site), which has CD images. One issue with Debian: the official images only include free software, which means they don’t work with a lot of hardware. Brianjd (talk) 11:26, 3 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  TAILS USB version: [ https://tails.boum.org/install/download/index.en.html ]. Either USB or DVD would be fine for testing to see if the monitor flashes white when using another OS, but if you are using TAILS for security a DVD-R or DVD+R (not RW) has the advantage of not being rewritable, so that even if an attacker gets complete control of your machine and corrupts TAILS, any modifications the attacker makes to TAILS will disappear with the next boot. --Guy Macon (talk) 15:04, 3 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Same answer: Get it repaired, buy a new one, try to fix it yourself, or live with it. In this case, search for someone else who had the problem, fixed it, and posted the results.
