Searching Gmail filters[edit]

I have established hundreds of Gmail filters, but now I want to find and delete one. Searching visually while I scroll is too hard. Is there a way to search for a particular filter (I know the keyword) so I can delete it (or, another time, edit it)? Hayttom (talk) 09:40, 26 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Hayttom: I couldn't find anything like that. You may need to just export all the filters into an XML file, then delete (or edit) the filter, and then import the filters back in. See [1]. RudolfRed (talk) 01:50, 27 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, @RudolfRed. I was able to export the XML file and open it in Excel but after finding and deleting the filter I did not manage to save it in a way that I could re-import it. But it helped me to identify the filter I wanted to delete and I then found I could just search (<CTRL-f>) for it in the Gmail filters list.Hayttom (talk) 08:16, 27 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
