Malware or virus signatures are data, the antivirus software needs to compare it with files to know what a virus is and which files are infected. In your case, either the signatures failed to update and are damaged files. Or, the files are thaken from redirected source and downloaded old versions to prevent detection of viruses which was caused by an undetected attack to your computer. To fix it, turn off the affected computer. Download the antivirus software in the recent version from another (clean) computer, you trust. Copy the downloaded antivirus software to an USB memory (warning, it can become infected!) or CD/DVD (more safe) and install it on the affected PC. If the repair install fails, uninstall, reboot and install again. Have it scan. When clean, go online and update. Only use a relyable antivirus software. --Hans Haase (有问题吗) 01:13, 14 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
