USS Vincennes launching missile[edit]

Original - A missile departs the forward launcher of Vincennes during a 1987 exercise.

It is from an important part in US-Iran relations and is one of the best qualities of the incident.

  • Well it looks impressive, but there is a huge ammount of noise and both over and underexposure. The uniqueness of the image may offset this somewhat though... - Zephyris Talk 14:59, 5 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • There is some consideration since it's film photograph in the 80's, which is usually not the greatest era for pictures. I don't think it would have a good chance of passing a FP, although an image of a missile being fired from the same ship near the same time frame as the accident, it would probably be pretty good EV grounds for a VP. — raeky (talk | edits) 18:19, 5 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
