Billy Cannon[edit]

I've listed this article for peer review because I'd like to bring it to Featured Article status. The article was GA reviewed and promoted in April by Jaguar, who said he found nothing wrong with the article. Any suggestions for what I can do to increase its FA worthiness would be appreciated.

Per Wikipedia:Manual of Style (numbers), there should be a non-breaking space -   between a number and the unit of measurement. For example, instead of 455 yards, use 455 yards, which when you are editing the page, should look like: 455 yards.[?] There are a few occurrences of weasel words in this article- please observe WP:AWT. Certain phrases should specify exactly who supports, considers, believes, etc., such a view.

"His punt return against Ole Miss on Halloween night in 1959 is considered one of the most notable plays in LSU sports history."

The script has spotted the following contractions: wasn't, doesn't, if these are outside of quotations, they should be expanded.

"In the summer of 1955, Cannon was given a 90-day suspended sentence for theft after he and some friends were caught roughing-up men they saw entering hotels with prostitutes". I don't understand why he'd be charged with theft for roughing up some guys. Please clarify. Everything else seems good.Dig Deeper (talk) 22:55, 5 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
