Wikipedia:Notability (science)/Test cases

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This page is no longer active. Please consult Wikipedia:WikiProject Deletion sorting/Academics and educators and Wikipedia:WikiProject Deletion sorting/Science for science-related deletion discussions

The purpose of this page is to gather evidence from ongoing discussions about how the community views scientific topics. It is not to influence the debate itself. This notability guideline is still a proposal and heavily edited, and criteria can change quickly in the course of a discussion. Currently all arguments on scientific topics should be derived from our core policies and the guideline on notability. Most cases of interest to this guideline are listed in the AfD category: science and technology.

To include test cases, please transclude ongoing AfD discussions to the top below. To transclude, copy the discussion header and add in double curved brackets:

{{Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/CONTESTED_ARTICLE}}

and add the following line to the discussion:

*This discussion has been added as a [[WP:SCI/TC|test case]] to the proposed guideline [[Wikipedia:Notability (science)]]. ~ ~~~~

Findings and observations can be discussed at WT:SCI.
