Please join us The Construction Company, the International Alliance for Women in Music, and Wikimedia NYC as we edit, correct, and add Wikipedia pages related to Women in Music! This event will be held at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts from 4:00-7:30PM on Monday, August 5th. We'll be in the Film Room on the 3rd Floor - the front desk will direct you.

No experience editing Wikipedia is required but please bring a laptop! Experienced Wikipedians will be around to help out, and we’ll be starting the edit-a-thon with a brief tutorial to cover the basics.

All attendees are subject to Wikimedia NYC's Code of Conduct.

Hi - Meredith Kurz here - I am attending - however I need to leave at 5:45 as I have a previous engagement in Long Island City. ALSO - I would like to take pictures, with your permission - I'm guessing Megs, this is more for your information. I pitched Ms. Magazine on an article for the Art And Feminism Wiki you and MOMA ran this past spring. They accepted - YAY! However, if possible, I'd like to add the Women In Music Edit-A-Thon - to add more meat on the bones. I would take some pictures, etc. My ideal would be to interview Megs for the article, as she heads up the whole shebang. Here's a link to Ms. Magazine - https://msmagazine.com/

Feel free to email me - all my best - Meredith
