  • Support. There are a number of Toni Frissel images that I think could pass (such as Durova's earlier (failed) nomination), but this is a good example with high EV. Mostlyharmless (talk) 05:01, 4 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support. I think the image could also be added to 332d Air Expeditionary Wing and Military_history_of_African_Americans#World_War_II. SpencerT♦Nominate! 14:59, 4 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment I'm not an expert on restoration, but it sure looks like there's still a lot of dirt or something all over it. Can anyone corroborate this or are my eyes just fooling me (it's nearly 3 AM here)? Makeemlighter (talk) 06:52, 5 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
    • Maybe you were looking at the unrestored version? It seems fine to me. ZooFari 06:54, 5 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
      • It is a bit dusty still and although it's a decent enough repair otherwise, I'm not keen on the slightly compressed shadows compared to the original. Good to see it's looking like a promotion though, as these are minor niggles. --mikaultalk 13:10, 9 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
