Wikipedia:Canada collaboration/Skeena river

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This nomination was selected as the November 2006 Canada collaboration. (improvements)

Skeena river[edit]

This is a major Canadian river that winds through interesting native, logging, and fishing communities, currently lacking even the most basic of details. Riverboats used to navigate through the rapids near Terrace; world-record sized fish caught in its tributaries. See Template_talk:PD-Canada#Copyright claims of museums or archives; this opens up a lot of great image possibilities for many articles like this.

Comments: This article consists of 3 pictures, yet only two very minimal paragraphs of text. Moreover, it is a stub and I simply do not think it measures up to Canadian Collaboration standards. Dhastings 15:10, 14 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Perhaps I've misunderstood the purpose of the collaboration idea, because the skeletal nature of the existing article was the reason I nominated it. Deet 16:27, 14 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
