Voetbalvereniging Vlugheid Kracht Westerbork (VKW) is a football club based in Westerbork, Drenthe, Netherlands. It was founded on 8 August 1929.[1] In 2022, they reached promotion to the Vierde Divisie (when they secured promotion it was still known as the Hoofdklasse).[2] They suffered relegation back to the Eerste Klasse after their sole season in the Vierde Divisie.[3]

VKW uit Westerbork maakt volgend seizoen een historische overstap naar de hoofdklasse van het zondagamateurvoetbal. De club die nog vol in de strijd is voor de titel in de 1e klasse F kreeg daar gisteravond telefonisch bericht over van de voetbalbond KNVB. De promotie komt drie jaar nadat de blauwhemden op de valreep nog naast promotie grepen.
