Consensus is and has been for Kaffir lime per this. If you wish to change it, you must get consensus. If you do not revert it back, I will open a formal request to do so and request your account be blocked for vandalism as Wikipedia isn't censored and if you bothered to read the talk page or article itself, Kaffir is the correct word and not a slur. I appreciate the point you are making about the phrase 'kaffir lime' - as this Guardian article indicates, you are not the only person who feels that way. However, our manual of style directs us to use the common names for things (see WP:COMMONNAME). I just gig a few Google searches: "kaffir lime" gave me 3,100,000 hits; "citrus hystrix" gave 290,000, and "makrut lime" only 82,000. I also looked at Google Scholar, which as you would expect leans more towards the scientific name, but even then there are 3,490 for "kaffir lime", 5,790 for "Citrus hystrix" and only 193 for "makrut lime". There's no way that makrut is going to fly as a name for the article, kaffir lime is obviously the most commonly used. You might be able to gain consensus to use the scientific name (personally I doubt that you'd convince people, but you're allowed to try); until there is consensus for the change however, you must not rename that article. FTR, I'm perfectly aware that the term "kaffir" is offensive when used of a person. Wikipedia says of kaffir lime: "Claims that the name of the fruit derives directly from the South African ethnic slur "kaffir" (see "Name" below) are not well supported.".
