Proposed deletion of Line Communications[edit]

The article Line Communications has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Almost even speedy material and I would tag as such but I'm not sure if it will be removed so PROD instead...my searches found nothing at all to suggest better improvement.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Possible removal of AWB access due to inactivity[edit]

Hello! There is currently a request for approval of a bot to manage the AutoWikiBrowser CheckPage by removing inactive users, among other tasks. You are being contacted because you may qualify as an inactive user of AWB. First, if you have any input on the proposed bot task, please feel free to comment at the BRFA. Should the bot task be approved, your access to AWB may be uncontroversially removed if you do not resume editing within a week's time. This is purely for routine maintenance of the CheckPage, and is not indicative of wrongdoing on your part. You will be able regain access at any time by simply requesting it at WP:PERM/AWB. Thank you! MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 23:36, 8 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thank You[edit]

Just wanted to thank you for adding an assessment to those baseball stat list pages my dude. I tried to submit a lot of them a while ago, but the assessment page was dead at the time, so I appreciate you doing it. Taffe316 (talk) 00:42, 19 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Someone's got to make a judgement, I don't think mine's perfect but it'll do. The userbot per the tables is still not working though, so the progress made is not shown. Yousou (Complain) 00:46, 19 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on WikiProject Baseball, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, such as at Articles for deletion. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. {{3x|p}}ery (talk) 03:31, 12 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Oops[edit]

Sorry about that! You got to it while I was worrying about the history. I certainly did not mean to revert you! I've requested revdel btw as I think it steers close to the wind legally. Cheers DBaK (talk) 19:28, 11 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

No worries I understood after I did the reversion that you meant to revert someone else and not me, I have also requested protection of the page due to the issues relating to the closure news, you can also +1 the protection request if you desire. The decrease arrow was a nice nifty version of disruption, I will admit. Yousou (Complain) 19:30, 11 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Haha thanks! Someone really really doesn't like that company! However, it was apparently not a legal concern so my revdel request was refused. I'm just having a lovely successful evening all round, really! Cheers and sorry again DBaK (talk) 19:34, 11 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
It seems like multiple people given that the news has hit the Twitter outrage circles, as is what drew me to the fact that the article was vandalised and people were celebrating such on Twitter. It's usually shouldn't be a legal concern especially if we revert it as quickly as we did. The outrage stems from the perception it related to the unionisation of the newspaper earlier that year, which adds to the Twitter drama. Glad to know you're doing well, cheers. Antandrus[edit]

It's a WMF-banned user who has been harassing Antandrus (and Jimmy Wales) for years. Please don't give them the air time. I've blocked the account without email access. Acroterion (talk) 00:27, 4 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
