Your choice of article[edit]

Greetings Cindy!

A couple quick things to bring up that a Wikipedia user named Wizzito brought to my attention in this message he left on my userpage. I'm not sure why he didn't mention it to you.

The article you linked on the dashboard had a typo in it. You suggested you would write Summer Time(Album) but the convention on Wikipedia is to put a space in so it should be Summer Time (Album). I fixed it in the dashboard for you already.

A bigger issue is that he suggests that although the article exists on the Chinese wikipedia (zh:夏野了), he is concerned that "the album might not meet English wiki notability due to the lack of sources on the zhwiki article." Maybe there are additional sources that you could find that would help establish notability as per Wikipedia's notability policies. In general, I think that trying to write new articles about things like albums is pretty difficult because notability criteria are pretty strict. That's why Kaylea and I suggested that you improve an existing article on English Wikipedia because it's much more likely that someone else has already done the work to ensure that the work at least likely meets the threshold.

In any case, you should look at Wikipedia:Notability (music) and the albums section in particular. It might make sense (or at least be easier) to switch to a different article. License tagging for File:Summertime Roy wang.jpeg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Summertime Roy wang.jpeg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. Summer Time[edit]

Hi. Thanks for creating Summer Time article. I'm a little concerned about your sources though. As best I can tell, the weibo.cn source is a social media post. The qq.com post requires a log-in, so I can't see it, but the Tencent QQ article on Wikipedia makes it look like more of a social media site than a news site with an editorial team. Finally, the careerengine.us source appears to be a self-published post, not one from a major news organisation.

Remember that if you use a news source, it needs to be a reputable news source with a history of fact checking. And to create a new article you need several reliable sources that cover the topic in depth. To avoid your article getting deleted, I'm going to move it back to your sandbox, so that you have time to track down higher-quality sources.
