Adoption?[edit]

Hey Worm That Turned, I was wondering if you'd be interested in adopting me. I looked through your program page and saw that you have an impressive program, and have adopted some pretty impressive editors, so I was wondering if you'd be willing to help me out. Please let me know at your convenience, thanks! Go Phightins! (talk) 15:32, 6 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

One of your adoptees has come back recently...[edit]

Hi Worm! You might have not seen me around for more than four months. I have decided to return with a new username, and I am now ready to take this adoption course again.

My old name (when I was under your adoption) is User:Jedd Raynier and I have come back with the username User:Toyota Fortuner. Will my former adoption page be moved, or will it be retained?

Nice meeting again! Toyota Fortuner (talk) 03:54, 4 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

P.S. Please see my userpage for why I came back.

Hi Toyota. I'm afraid I'm now a little too busy to work on adoption - I've recently become an arbitrator, which is taking up all my time. I do notice that both of your past adopters have returned to Wikipedia, User:Yash! and User:Bmusician are about on and off - perhaps you could check in with them. Also, you may want to redirect User:Jedd Raynier to your current username for transparency, especially since you have had issues with sockpuppetry in the past. I understand you have locked the Jedd account, so stick to this username, and this username only in the future. WormTT(talk) 08:44, 4 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Adoption[edit]

Not sure where it started (probably Dennis's page) but this morning I read with interest all the stuff pertaining to Editor WT101. The open administrative discussion was interesting and informative. But it made me consider my own inadequacies' as an editor. And I followed my mouse and opened this door. Question: Would you consider adopting an old geezer like me? Or maybe you know of a page that might be considered a "Junior College". Any advice is appreciated. ```Buster Seven Talk 13:08, 9 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Buster Seven, good to see you here. If you read everything, you will have spotted that I'm unfortunately unable to take on adoptees at the moment, I'm just far too busy with arbitration work. Regrettably, that will also include you...
Having said that, I'm surprised to to see your request in the first place. You do know that you've been around longer than me and made double the number of edits I have? I'd certainly consider you an experienced editor, my adoption courses generally focus on bringing people who have no idea how the encylopedia works up to speed. Was there anything in particular you were worrying about? I'd be glad to offer thoughts on any subject if you'd like. WormTT(talk) 13:28, 9 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the prompt reply. I completely understand. I just want to keep growing as an editor. Ive contacted Editor Go Phightins!> We work together @ Editor of the Week. ```Buster Seven Talk 13:43, 9 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Adoption[edit]

Are you still not taking on adoptees at this time? -- WV 02:30, 12 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Winkelvi. I might be in the near future, but I'm still getting my head back in to a non-Arbcom place. I'll get back to you soon :) WormTT(talk) 08:49, 12 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Then I look forward to hearing back from you! -- WV 11:33, 15 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
