Bot blocking of Worrylabeler
The bot has blocked a user despite my comment at WP:AIV to the contry: [1]. Can the bot not wait for manual intervention when there are comments about the user? --Wintonian (talk) 11:16, 12 October 2010 (UTC)
- The bot does not block users, it merely removes uses from AIV who are blocked. Should subsequent discussion be required, this could be raised at another suitable location such as WP:ANI or with the admin who performed the block. AIV itself is simply a page for reporting users for whom it is perceived a block is required. Will (aka Wimt) 18:19, 13 October 2010 (UTC)
HBC AIV helperbot7

- Hi, it looks like it was just an edit conflict unfortunately (see top thread too). It was removing a different user but did so at the exact same moment as you submitted your report. If it does happen again, if you just undo the edit, the bot should then just remove it again without removing yours. Will (aka Wimt) 17:21, 16 October 2010 (UTC)
