Deletion of "Naked In The Rain"[edit]

I contest the deletion of this article because it clearly states the sound of the song, which is not included in the band's profile, and lists chart positions, also not listed in the band profile. The only thing that has to do with the band is the first sentence, while the last three deal with the song in itself. I would appreciate you removing the tag from the article so it can remain as a Wikipedia article. Thanks. --Putnam269 (talk) 23:28, 27 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Expanding "Naked In The Rain"[edit]

I'll be honest, I'm just trying to add reviews for the songs featured in the British series Now That's What I Call Music! (not the same as the American series), as I notice your website has a lack of them. If you want me to stop "corrupting" your website with my reviews, I suggest other Wikipedians contribute to my crusade to have reviews for all Now! songs. I have nothing against you or this website, which is fantastic, but I would appreciate if the deletion tags would stop being placed on my articles. And besides, I do list my songs in the categories of "stubs" (1980s single stubs, 1990s single stubs, etc.), so there should be no confusion. Others can expand on my articles to help this problem. Thank you. --Putnam269 (talk) 23:35, 27 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Movie Day[edit]

Hi Williamwade,

I've removed your DB-nocontext tag on the article Movie Day, and nominated it for deletion instead. DB-nocontext only applies to articles which do not provide context, and the article you tagged provides all the context needed, regardless of how true it is/isn't. If you want to participate in the deletion discussion, you can go here. Thanks! MixItUp 23:36, 27 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No problem ^_^. Oh, and remember to sign your name on talk pages by typing four tildes (~~~~) MixItUp 23:42, 27 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Coker Experimental Farms[edit]

I just created the stub article on Coker Experimental Farms and instantly received notice this was tagged for speedy deletion. Sir, I object, for several reasons. A) It was already noted in the article that this is a National Historic Landmark of the United States, so it is notable. B) I included text and photo set references for more information, which can be used to develop the article, and C) It is not proper for you or anyone else on new page patrol to tag articles so quickly. I am not entirely familiar with your processes, but I do understand you are supposed to work from the oldest end of the list of new articles, and not instantly attack brand new articles within seconds of their first creation. In guidelines for new page patrol, it is observed that many pages are created over several edits, and it would not be proper to attack the very first version.

So, please, back off! And, I deleted the speedy-delete tag.

Sincerely, doncram (talk) 04:06, 28 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion[edit]

Hi, can you slow down on the speedy deletion tagging? I'm declining a lot of them as the criteria for speedy deletion do not apply to a lot of the articles you have tagged. If you are new to this, please take it slowly and consult with other editors and admins until you get a feel for what is a potentially contentious and controversial action. --Canley (talk) 04:08, 28 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Also, can you not mark speedy deletion requests as minor edits? --Canley (talk) 04:18, 28 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, William. I'm afraid i don't see the nonsense. I even found a source. Cheers, Dlohcierekim 04:20, 28 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy Deletion of PSPTube[edit]

A tag has been placed on PSPTube, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the article and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this.--GSK (talk) 21:04, 12 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Creating pages in wikipedia[edit]

Hi, please re-read WP:CSD#A1. That criteria is for patent nonsense, which doesn't apply to the article Creating pages in wikipedia. It seems plausible the author is trying to create an article about somebody named Lokesh Dhakal, they just titled the page incorrectly. justinfr (talk) 03:02, 25 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
