British Motorcycles

That's a relief. I thought when I saw the orange bar that someone might be coming here to tell me off for something. :-) I'm interested in old machinery in general, not just motorbikes, so I doubt I'd be much help with the project to be honest. Any help is very welcome - especially the attention to detail stuff you are good at. I'm a fan of HG and had a look at In the Days of the Comet. It is unreferenced (the facsimile doesn't count) but The War of the Worlds has got 49 good refs so its worth thinking about? I did find it on Project Gutenberg so added it as an 'external link' Thruxton (talk) 20:38, 20 October 2010 (UTC)

Thanks for copyediting Lodi_Road - you've made a decent job of it, which I couldn't get my head round. I'm not sure why you removed the references tag as well as the copyedit one, though. This article is kind of important, since it then puts me at 200 DYKs. It has been approved and in the long clue to come up in a couple of weeks as an actual DYK. If you see any other improvements, I'll not edit it for a day or so, so you can make any changes. The pictures I can change anytime. I've seen others suggest that a good general rule is to include something from each section of the article in the lead, and that seems to make sense to me. William Leadford (talk) 22:53, 1 May 2011 (UTC)
