Gibraltarpedia[edit]

Welcome aboard! :) Are you particularly intersted in contributing to any specific area of the project? --Gibmetal 77talk 2 me 10:50, 19 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I have to admit that I don't have any specific in-depth subject knowledge, but I am familiar with the area, I keep up to date with current affairs and developments in Gib, and like to add and improve here and there where necessary. I'll probably end up trawling through pages and copy-editing, and/or adding refs, sourcing free images, and watching out for vandalism rather than writing pure, new content. :) WillDow (Talk) 11:11, 19 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Excellent, we need people to do just that! We've already started creating a few articles so please check them out. I'm glad you mention the sourcing of free images as this will be an important part of the project. We hope to encourage many local photographers to upload their work to Commons but it would be brilliant if you could start on this soon. Look forward to working together :) --Gibmetal 77talk 2 me 18:21, 19 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Notification of discussion[edit]

As a member of the Gibraltarpedia project, you may be aware that there was a discussion a few months ago on Wikipedia talk:Did you know about Gibraltar-related DYKs on the Main Page. I am proposing that the temporary restrictions on such DYKs, which were imposed in September 2012, should be lifted and have set out a case for doing so at Wikipedia talk:Did you know/Gibraltar-related DYKs. If you have a view on this, please comment at that page. Prioryman (talk) 22:18, 13 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Clarification motion[edit]

A case (Gibraltar) in which you were involved has been modified by motion which changed the wording of the discretionary sanctions section to clarify that the scope applies to pages, not just articles. For the arbitration committee --S Philbrick(Talk) 21:58, 27 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
