it looks like this. The text does not wrap, and appears in a dotted box instead.

I removed the spaces; I actually also surrounded the text with a 'template' called 'xt', which makes the quoted text appear in a different colour and font; for example, putting {{xt|This is an example}} results in; This is an example

'xt' stands for 'eXample Text'.
