Letter to Alice: On First Reading Jane Austen[edit]

Hi, thanks for creating Letter to Alice: On First Reading Jane Austen. However, the article only contains a single-line and is completely unreferenced. I've turned it into a redirect to Fay Weldon for now. The book does seem to have the potential to meet WIkipedia's notability guidelines with reviews by independent reliable sources like The New York Times (see [1]). I hope you'll continue to work on an article for this book in the user or draft space and move it to the mainspace when it is ready. Don't hesitate to approach me if you need any help. Non-free image use[edit]

Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. We always appreciate when users upload files. However, it appears that one or more of the files you have uploaded or added to a page, specifically Draft:Dreams of Speaking, may fail our non-free policy. Most often, this involves editors uploading or using a copyrighted file of a living person. For other possible reasons, please read up on our Non-free criteria. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. — Marchjuly (talk) 06:12, 8 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Note about the dreams of speaking article[edit]

Don't worry, what I'm about to say probably isn't your fault. I noticed your class of 266 and randomly picked an editor to look at, which turned out to be you. The article you wrote on Dreams of Speaking is literally a college essay. It's not an encyclopedic entry, which is what Wikipedia is, an encyclopedia. You provide an analysis of the book, theme, writing style, and other things which belong in a college paper, and not an encyclopedia. Unfortunately it seems most of your class is doing the same thing. Vermont (talk) 18:41, 24 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
