Removing referenced material from articles[edit]

I have removed information that is part of a campaign by the bluenorway.org to spread misinformation about the company involved; if you go to his website you will see he is a propagandist and devoted to spreading disinformation by twisting and expanding upon minute facts. It should not have been posted in the first place and the main source of his information, the Times-Picayune, also posted articles that contained large amounts of misinformation and an editorial slant. The NDRF vessels did not do damage to the Florida Avenue Bridge or the pumphouse, to the railway bridge or the natural gas pipeline. The only thing accurate is that the vessels broke loose along with barges and that the dolphins on the Florida Avenue bridge and the railway bridge worked. What happened in the Industrial Canal also happened on the Mississippi. Over 300 barges, many in areas previously considered safe havens on the Mississippi River, were ripped from their moorings. It had to do with the first hurricane driven surge to hit the Louisiana coastal region since 2005 and Katrina and Rita. Similar effects were seen with Ike. That is the real story. If you read the discussion pages for bluenorway posts, you will see that numerous people tried to get him to stop. All I'm doing is cleaning up what he has done as he has since populated blogs all over the country with links back to the inaccurate Wikipedia information. He is a propagandist and disinformation specialist.

If he posts disinformation, I will remove it. There is no reason to discuss whether Wikipedia should allow posts of mis-information or distortions as it only undermines the integrity of the site. Visavixen (talk) 14:18, 24 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

In several recent articles you have removed referenced material about ships, removing referenced material without good reason is bad form on wikipedia, and should first be discussed on talk pages. Feel free to remove material that is not supported by references, such a sentence that claims a ship was sunk but was not, but please do not remove an entire paragraph as it contains references that were pertinent. Continued attempts to do this can be reported as vandelism.PB666 ^yap 12:37, 20 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please donot remove sections from the pages USS Hunley, American Explorer, or USNS Courier without discussing changes first on the talk pages. If you are having a personal war with BlueNorway, then take it to his talk page, do not vandelize wikipedia because of a personal war.PB666 ^yap 13:57, 22 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop. If you continue to blank out or delete portions of page content, templates or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did to USNS Courier (T-AK-5019), you will be blocked from editing.
