..Virgil; I pulled your TDD link and would have done the Ant one if Mr Ollie had got their first. It's not just the WP policy on linking, it's that the tutorials weren't that compelling, or, to put my Ant team hat on, very good examples of Ant scripts. Wikibooks has an Ant topic [[1]] where you could not only contribute content, but other participants in the authoring process can provide constructive feedback that will improve the quality of the tutorials. Hello, I am not spamming

Hello, Recently you removed couple of links to my blog. More specifically I am thinking to the link to my wxWidgets tutorial. Do you know something about wxWidgets? I am not spamming, I am not gaining any money from my blog and I only had a good tutorial which I wanted people to read in order to get more wxWidgets knowledge. This tutorial is good on wxWidgets community sites but is not good to appear on wikipedia external links? Also you removed some java tutorials for which I only wanted people to be aware and to get more knowledge. Is not this one of the purposes of wikipedia? One of the scopes of wikipedia is to share and increase knowledge among people, is not like that?

Hi. On Wikipedia we generally do not allow links to people's blogs, and we specifically do not allow people to submit links to their own blogs. See the guidelines on this subject at WP:COI and WP:EL. - MrOllie (talk) 14:31, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
