Please help me with changing the title of the page for J.D. Power and Associates. The company name has changed to J.D. Power, but there is already a page named J.D. Power for the founder of the company. Can the page be moved, with a title like J.D. Power (company)?

There's nothing on the official website (http://www.jdpower.com/about-us/history) about the full name of the company changing. Can you link us to a source that confirms that such a name change actually occurred? 78.28.45.127 (talk) 12:36, 19 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Always difficult when there is an exiting name - you are correct there will have to be some disambiguation (just like you suggested) if there is a name change. Not forgetting that Wikipedia does not always use the correct name - we use WP:COMMONNAME, so it depends a lot on how the company is currently known. The easy answer is to suggest a name change, get a consensus and no-one can complain (well not too much). Use the system outlined at Wikipedia:Requested_moves#Requesting_a_single_page_move.
