Welcome!

Hello, Vaselli, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as Energy Art, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines, and may soon be deleted.

There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called Your first article. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on this page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

The article Energy Art has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

none of these artists appear to be notable; none of the "exhibitions" appear to be notable (each received only local coverage by the popular press); the most recent exhibition was curated by Facebook users; the primary contributor to this article appears to be one of the featured artists

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hello Vaselli, I'm writing to you about your usage of File:Energy_Art_Logo_small.png on your userpage. I'm afraid that image is not free content and as such should not be used outside of mainspace, as you can read at WP:NFCC point 9. I know it's the logo of the art movement you are part of, and I understand why you'd want to put it on your page, but sadly that image is copyrighted and used on wikipedia only as fair-use, and that negates using it on userpages :( It would be great if you could kindly remove it, comment it out, or replace it with another, free image. Happy editing, Snowolf How can I help? 16:11, 17 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Energy Art nomination for deletion[edit]

Since it's abundantly obvious that this article does not meet Wikipedia's standards for inclusion, I've nominated it for deletion. You can participate in the deletion discussion here Rklawton (talk) 20:08, 22 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
