Blocking question[edit]

There is more information on the policy questions you had at Wikipedia:Blocking policy. EdwinHJ | Talk 03:03, 5 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I can't believe it was in exactly the place that it should be! Now I feel foolish. MicahMN | Talk 03:06, August 5, 2005 (UTC)
No need to feel foolish...I sometimes don't see something that is in the correct and obvious place! Edwin | Talk 04:47, 5 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know who you are, but this computer is a public computer at Gulf Coast University in Florida. If you block wikipedia you ar blocking hundreds of students who use wikipedia for research and other material. Including many of us who are using right now for a class and our professor asked us to use the resources of wikipedia.

Copyright answers[edit]

In fact, I've created a copyright information page here. – Quadell (talk) (sleuth) 13:03, August 5, 2005 (UTC)

Al Franken[edit]

First of all, it is not up just to you to decide if the AAR controversy should be on the Franken page or not. I think that it should be. So therefore we don't have concensus. Next, Franken was working there when the money was stolen from the elderly and the children. We have a right to know how much of that money ended up in Franken's hands. Also, since Franken is politican, then the question becomes: What did Franken know and when did he know it.-----Keetoowah 02:58, 10 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your support[edit]

The mop is mine!

Thank you for voting to support my RFA. I've been promoted, and I promise to wield the mop with good faith, patience, and fairness... except when I'm exterminating vandals with the M-16 recoilless nuclear Gatling mop. --malathion talk 08:03, 10 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Func's RfA :)[edit]

Micahmn, your vote on my RfA was very much appreciated, thank you! :)

Please never hesitate to let me know if you have concerns with any administrative action I may make.

Laurie Coleman[edit]

Now that I think about it, TrojanMan has a good point. Her mother's activism has nothing to do with an encyclopedic entry about her. This stuff about Lois Casserly is inappropriate -- OldRight 01:36, 11 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome[edit]

Thank you Mica for your welcome, Actually I have been a wikipedian for a few years now but mostly on nl. and af. seldom en. ;-) af:Gebruiker:Jcwf

Coleman[edit]

Micah, you asked me to let you know why I disagree. The information I included is relevant. You said previously you were not the dictator of the article, but now you are doing wholesale deletions without much discussion at all. -DanielM

Nothing was deleted from Wikipedia, but rather moved to a more appropriate place. There is an entire paragraph about Coleman and the Oil-for-food investigation, the information moved does not deal with Coleman but rather Galloway. As for Galloway's testimony, it has very little to do with Coleman. There are two different links that remain in the Coleman article where people wanting to read more about the matter can. -- MicahMN | Talk 03:47, 21 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

The information you just deleted (and now TJive) was not the same as that of a month ago. It was improved in another try to make a better article. -DanielM

Quadell's stalker[edit]

Sadly, I don't know any way to shut the vandal down. Short of blocking all AOL edits, anyway, which would never happen. Sigh. Don't let him get to you! FreplySpang (talk) 23:33, August 21, 2005 (UTC)

I don't know why he chose me either. Thanks for your diligent work - something like being a janitor at a zoo, I suppose, cleaning up after the animals. My hat's off to you. – Quadell (talk) (sleuth) 00:00, August 22, 2005 (UTC)

WikiBreak[edit]

Yeah I was pissed when I typed up that goodbye note but then I realized... My friends outnumber my vandals :) Redwolf24 23:35, 23 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Category:Millennial Wikipedians[edit]

Category:Millennial Wikipedians has been listed on categories for deletion. Since you are using it on your user page please weigh in on the vote and that of the other generational categories here. Thanks. -JCarriker 20:34, August 26, 2005 (UTC)

Hi. I have used wikipedia before and am glad to be able to contribute to the 2006 New Mexico U.S. Senate Election article. I do have a question, which is how can I get the ballot box picture onto the page like you have in your one about the Minnesota. Aside, although I am British, I have an interest in American politics and like you my sympathies lie with the Democrats. I will, however, strive to avoid any hint of un-neutrality in my article. Thanks.

Thanks. I do have another question: how do you get the contents page box?

Al Franken[edit]

I saw that you reverted the section to the Al Franken article about the Boys and Girls club loan scandal that involved Air America. I want you to know that I removed it since Franken is not involved in any way with this ordeal. I suggest that if it is not in the Air America Radio article (which I'm pretty sure it is), then you add it there. It really has no place on Franken's page, and it would be cosidered POV to add it there. MicahMN | Talk 16:53, 9 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I have added a segment, even though I really think it is unnecessary, to the Franken article about the scandal. If there are any credible outside sources linking Franken to the scandal, then we can add something, but Wikipedia is not a blog or a gossip column to throw unfounded accusations around. MicahMN | Talk 03:36, 10 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Back in August you claimed, incorrectly I might add, that Al Franken had nothing to do with the Gloria Wise Girls and Boys Club scandal. Well, it turns out that he was involved in the negotiation of the settlement and he signed the final settlement document. So, yes, he was completely and totally involved in the scandal. Also, when he runs for Senator from Minnesota, he will lose because everyone will talking about his involvement in the scandal and more information will come out. Have a good day.--Keetoowah 15:01, 10 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Micah will you start on a Dean Zimmermann page? I added some stuff at Minneapolis City Council#Zimmermann controversy but he needs a page of his own. EdwinHJ | Talk 00:18, 12 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Micah go here and support my nomination of election judge for improvement. Thanks. EdwinHJ | Talk 05:21, 21 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]
