Disambiguation link notification for January 28[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Bing Crosby-Decca Records controversy, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page LP. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

April 2015[edit]

Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be engaged in an edit war with one or more editors according to your reverts at Oakdale High School (Maryland). Although repeatedly reverting or undoing another editor's contributions may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, and often creates animosity between editors. Instead of edit warring, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. While edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, breaking the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a block.

you've only been here a short time. assume good faith please that someone who has been here much longer probably knows what he's doing. nothing whatsoever "deserves" to be in Wikipedia. if you want to improve the article, reference the things you are trying to replace. however, going to a particular college makes no difference in determining notability. since the fella has no article (notability on Wikipedia means "qualifies to have an article) , you would have to show references that prove he would qualify and references to connect him to the school. it's all about verifiability, one of the pillars of Wikipedia. This article is pretty crappy. but if you lived in a crappy house, would that make it ok to dump a pile of crap on the floor? if you want to improve the article, please do. if you just want to add more crap, no thanks. Speedy deletion nomination of Bing Crosby's legacy[edit]

Hello Utzdman55,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Bing Crosby's legacy for deletion, because it's too short to identify the subject of the article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Jorm (talk) 21:31, 15 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I just tagged this image because when an image is not a free image such as a film poster where the copyright is owned by the publisher, we need to abide by the non-free content criteria. One of these requirements is that it be low resolution, preferably less than 0.1 megapixels. Don't worry about doing it yourself though, a bot will come along and shrink the image shortly. Cheers, James086Talk 07:40, 16 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia:WikiProject Bing Crosby 78 discography, a page you substantially contributed to, has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/Wikipedia:WikiProject Bing Crosby 78 discography and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Wikipedia:WikiProject Bing Crosby 78 discography during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such a removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. StarcheerspeaksnewslostwarsTalk to me 03:39, 26 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Four Star Favorites, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Alberto Domínguez (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
