Untitled[edit]

I would like to edit some parts of Unionville, Ontario because not all of Unionville is in Ward 3 as the Original Unionville was founded North of 16th Ave & Kennedy in Unionville's Berczy Community. Also the boundaries of Unionville which it says the words " 10th line" in the article. 10th Line is used in the Town Of Stouffville, and has no relation to the City of Markham or its Unionville Village. Please let me reqauest to it it. Thanks (Unionvillian) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Unionvillian (talkcontribs) 05:57, 6 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • Also People living in Toronto are called Torontonians I think people who live in Unionville should be called Unionvillians. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Unionvillian (talkcontribs) 06:05, 6 April 2013‎ (UTC)[reply]

Recent changes to article on Unionville[edit]

You made so many changes recently that some of the paragraphs you changed no longer make any sense - I can't even tell if they are accurate in their intent. You can post suggestions in my Talk page if you wish, or just come to URA or UVA meetings and engage in a civilized discussion with our experts. If you persist in disruptive behaviour on Wikipedia, you can be blocked. Jpaulm (talk) 14:34, 7 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Do you guys know anything about Unionville?... Unionville originally was founded North of 16th Avenue on the Beckett Farm in Circa 1794. I have proof! Next time you drive and see the sign "Unionville" founded in 1794 its talking about the first house on the Beckett Farm in Unionville's Berczy Community founded North of 16th Avenue & Kennedy. All the following areas originally had Unionville addresses:

    • Steeles Avenue to the South, 19th Avenue to the North, Highway 404 to the West, & McCowan Rd to the East

You can't change history! That large area are the boundaries of Unionville. The following neighbourhoods are part of Unionville: Olde Unionville Village, South Unionville, Milliken, Angus Glen, Berczy, Caschet, and Unionville's rural Hamlets including Buttonville (nickname for the Unionville settler John Button), Victoria Square, Almira, and Caschel. Just because one councilor Don Hamilton changes the addresses to suit himself and excludes many neighbourhoods who have always been part of Unionville including the neighbourhood where the Unionville High School is in? Its upset many residents what Don Hamilton has done this because Ward 3 isn't Unionville! Lets examine Ward 3...Ward 3 excludes the High School with the name Unionville but yet the High School of Ward 3 is the Markville High School and the term "Markville is a short form for Markham Village. Most of Ward 3 on any mapbook shows the Markham neighbourhood of Quanztown. THATS NOT UNIONVILLE ITS QUANZTOWN! AND YET IT EXCLUDES THE OLDEST HOUSE WHERE THE FIRST UNIONVILLE SETTLERS ON THE BECKETT FARM NORTH OF 16TH AND KENNEDY RD IN 1794!

              • STOP EXCLUDING MANY NEIGHBOURHOODS IN UNIONVILLE. WARD 3 IS QUANZTOWN IN MARKHAM... DEFINITELY NOT UNIONVILLE!****

Unionville actually has no boundaries. Most realtors consider the original boundaries before Unionville was included as part of the Town of Markham in 1971 as Unionville's boundaries. Which include Olde Unionville, South Unionville, Quanztown, Buttonville, North Milliken, Underwood, Cachet, Victoria Square and The Rural Hamlets of Almira and Caschel as "In Unionville".

Under the History title for the Unionville Wikipedia page it says that "NOTE: Unionville also extended westward on both sides of 19th Avenue to the 404 and eastward to the 10th line." Well 10th Line is not in the City of Markham its used in Stouffville for Reesor Rd. However, Unionville only goes eastward to McCowan Rd. Can someone please take that sentence above in quotes off. Thanks!
