Hi. Just to bring you up to date, the deletion of the above article was reversed to allow the AfD discussion to continue at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Pennridge–Quakertown Thanksgiving Day Football Classic. It looks like you put a ton of work into this project, and you can see from the discussion that some viewers (myself included) appreciate that effort. If you have views on the article's deletion, you may make comments at that discussion. Best, Cbl62 (talk) 18:12, 19 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, I have declined your speedy deletion request for the above article. Since there are several users who support the article being kept at the AfD discussion, the article is not eligible to be deleted through WP:G7. Eagles 24/7 (C) 18:31, 19 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Hello again. One of the difficult things about Wikipedia is that there is no ownership of one's work. The nature of Wikipedia is that others remain free to add, delete, and modify the work that we've contributed. More often than not, our work is modified, expanded, and enhanced for the good. Other times, maybe not so much. My best advice is to try not to let that frustration outweigh the benefit of spreading one's work to Wikipedia's enormous readership. You've spent a great deal of time creating this article, and it's high quality work. I hope you can work within this system and continue contributing even more high quality work. I got your note on my talk page. I know it can be frustrating to have such a major work nominated for deletion, but these things do tend to work themselves out. In this case, the voting to date recognizes the value of your work. We definitely need people like you with good research and writing skills and a passion for history. I hope you'll reconsider and continue participating here. Cbl62 (talk) 01:08, 20 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2021 Elections voter message[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2021 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 6 December 2021. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2021 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:58, 23 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
