Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Bae Doona, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Skyerise (talk) 18:32, 3 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Half of Wikipedia would disappear under that burden. For instance, in that same article, there are 5 other roles which have no citation in just the first paragraph alone. The linked Wikipedia article itself verified the role. As noted in [Unsourced Content removal], the contribution should only be removed when it is doubtful a source could be found. In this case, a source could be readily found on IMDB or numerous other sources, so, per Wikipedia guidelines, the "Citation Needed" tag should be used and the contribution should not be deleted.TroubledSenior (talk) 09:05, 9 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Nope, contributors should learn to cite sources. The page you link is just an essay - one editor's opinion. The warning I placed is an official warning - I will remove all uncited material that you add because your attitude about sourcing sucks. Provide sources or find another hobby. See WP:BURDEN, which is the actual policy - "All content must be verifiable. The burden to demonstrate verifiability lies with the editor who adds or restores material, and it is satisfied by providing an inline citation to a reliable source that directly supports the contribution," and "Any material lacking an inline citation to a reliable source that directly supports the material may be removed and should not be restored without an inline citation to a reliable source." Since the article is a biography of a living person, these standards are to be strictly upheld, even more so than an article on another topic. Skyerise (talk) 17:19, 9 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Please note that WP:IMDb is not a reliable source. Nil Einne (talk) 13:14, 20 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
