{{help me}} My question is following on from my following a link on the John Lofty Wiseman page I have discovered that the much offending Trueways Survival School have hijacked that page to become a series of adverts for their business which I thought was not allowed here. I found myself on a Trueways Survival School page here!!! That is simply a business advertising! I followed the various links there but found nothing of real entrensic value to justify at all either the references nor the existence of the page itself. Am I right or wrong in my assumptions here please? Could this be looked into please at all perhaps. Many thanks Trevor D Gamble

nb the same Trueways Survival School company is trying to claim total ownership of the name Lofty Wiseman now through a granted UK trademark on the name. However I followed through on finding this document online. I found it does not actually mean they own the name itself, but rather just the use of the name in business, for the selling of outdoors survival and outdoors kit and services like training. Thus that is not the same as them owning the famous name outright as the entry on the Lofty Wiseman Wikipedia page wrongly then there suggests. Again a business advert then on the Lofty Wiseman page here.

Hi Trevor D Gamble,
You can propose the deletion of Trueways Survival School if you think it is pure advertisements. See Wikipedia:Deletion policy for details. However, as they seem to collaborate with major new companies such as BBC or Times, and as the article provides some references, I'm not sure you will succeed.
You can also be bold and edit both articles to make them more neutral.
Also, when you think an article is bad, you should discuss it on its talk page (in the article's page, click on the "talk" tab) rather than on you own page. This allow the other editor of the article to talk with you. They're very likely to miss the discussion on your user talk page. When the subject is an article, it is always better to use its talk page. Calimo (talk) 07:08, 30 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Your article.[edit]

One of the most important things in an article is to have references. Like a school paper.

For example, don't put: Something about the guy.

Put: Something about the guy.[1]

The format is like this: Something about the guy.<ref name=exempli>Somewhere it's said.</ref>

AfD Nomination: Chris 'Grizzly' Caine[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome and appreciate your contributions, but all Wikipedia articles must meet our criteria for inclusion (see What Wikipedia is not and Deletion policy). Since it does not seem that Chris 'Grizzly' Caine meets these criteria, an editor has started a discussion about whether this article should be kept or deleted.

Your opinion on whether this article meets the inclusion criteria is welcome. Please contribute to the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Chris 'Grizzly' Caine. Don't forget to add four tildes (~~~~) at the end of each of your comments to sign them.

Discussions such as these usually last seven days. In the meantime, you are free to edit the content of the article. Please do not remove the "articles for deletion" template (the box at the top). When the discussion has concluded, a neutral third party will consider all comments and decide whether or not to delete the article. MickMacNee (talk) 18:20, 11 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
